Last Closed Period

• The three Grants Management reports (Monthly Salary Certification, Invalid Code Combinations, and Sponsored Research Expenditure) using the parameter "Last Closed Period" have been corrected to allow end user scheduling.

PER

• An Infomatica mapping has been changed to correctly update account allocations. This change will only impact when an account is changed from at risk to not at risk and has a new allocation of 0.

Ad Hoc Reporting

• Payment Method has been added to ogm_segments_sv, this will identify the segment payment method.
• Chart of Account values have been added to ogm_accounts_sv, this will limit the number of joins required when reporting on an entire account string.
• Security Social security number and birth dates have been removed from all Grants Management tables.

PER

• Account Group has been added as a parameter, allowing users to select a specific year (account group) for year logic subactivities. Users will have the ability to select multiple account groups or leave this parameter unselected to return all relevant account groups.
• The report run date has been added in the footer to all pages of the PER

Sponsored Invalid Code Combinations

• The transaction date of the invalid charge has been added, allowing users the ability to easily separate those newer invalid charges from the older. Please note: In the case of multiple invalid charges to the same tub, org, object, fund and activity combination, the transaction date appearing will be based on the most recent invalid charge.
• The financial administrator column has been renamed appropriately./li>
• Confusing report period parameter help text has been removed

• Non-operating transfers are now incorporated into the calculation of income

New Report: Requests

• The Request report summarizes request information by segment. This information includes request type, request status, proposed dates and dollars, submission date, and approvals such as cost share, animals, stem cells, and human subjects.

New Report: Segments

• Grouped by Tub, Org and PI, this reports summarizes segment level information such as segment status, sponsor, sponsor type, research type, obligated dates and dollars, and anticipated dates and dollars.

New Report: Sponsored Accounts

• This report summarizes account information for a given segment. Individual account information includes income, expenses, account allocation, final figures, at risk dates and dollars, overhead rate and campus location.

New Report: Subagreements

• The Subagreement report summarizes important subagreement information at a project level. Subagreement issued dates, issued amount, expenses, subagreement status, amendment status, and the number of days outstanding for an amendment are included on this report.

Accounts Receivable

• This report has been rewritten to compare the invoice date to the receivable due date. Whichever of the two values is older will be used to determine the outstanding bucket applicable.

Interest Policy

• This report has been rewritten to analyze overspent accounts at an account group level.

Excel Versions

• Excel output updates have been made to the following reports: Accounts Receivable, Invalid Code Combinations, Interest Policy, Scheduled Reports, Unreconciled Account
• Excel output options have been removed for the following reports: Monthly Salary Certification and Sponsored Research Expenditure

Security

• Changes to standing teams in GMAS are now properly applied to CREW.

Monthly Salary Certification

• Subactivity Parameter - The subactivity parameter was not returning the proper results, users were previously getting error messages when utilizing this field. Now the user can utilize this subactivity field in the format of activity.subactivity
• Report Catalog - The report catalog was previously not showing the proper parameters, audiences, and zones, this has now been corrected.

Invalid Code Combinations

• Showing 0.00 - When a transaction was a credit it was showing a debit amount of 0.00. This should actually show a blank field for the debit amount. This has been corrected.

Period Expense Report

• Multiple Root Values - When an account string had three or more root values associated with the unique fund, activity and subactivity combination, part of the third root value was getting cut off. Now the PER can handle up to six root values for one account string.
• At Risk Accounts - Previously at risk accounts were not returning results for pending segments, this problem has been corrected.

Sponsored Expenditure Reports

• Formatting - Previously the percentage amounts were showing up with two decimal places, this has been corrected to only show one decimal place.

Scheduled Reports

• Summary Buckets Out of Order - When the scheduled report was run at the Summary level, users were receiving the report date buckets out of order. Now they appear grouped by report type then sequentially from smallest date range to the largest date range.

Period Expense Report

• Budget Only Object Codes - Budget only object codes have been corrected and are appearing with the proper budgeted amounts on the PER.
• Fiscal Year End Expenses - When PER's were run to 6/30/04 some expenses were getting duplicated, this problem has been corrected and implemented.

• Formatting - the total column has been correctly reformatted.

• Summary Buckets off by Several Days - The Schedule Reports Summary Report calculation was off by several days when associated reports with the bucket >120 days

Monthly Salary Certification

• Run Time - Originally, there was a problem with the Monthly Salary Report taking several hours to run, it has been recoded to return results faster (now ranging from 5-30 minutes).

• My Portfolio Only - Based on user feedback, this parameter has been removed from the PER as most users who run this report do not have a GMAS portfolio.

• Help Text - The help text under the subactivity parameter has been adjusted to clarify that subactivity values must be entered in the format of activity.subactivity (ex. 123456.0001)

Invalid Code Combinations

• Duplicating results - This report was previously duplicating results when multiple people played the same role on a project admin team, this has been corrected so both names will now appear as one entry.

Unreconciled Accounts

• Duplicating results - Originally when there were two people playing the same role, the account would be duplicated on the report, this has been corrected and multiple people in the same role no longer cause a problem.
